Hello Hello Hello, PNW Key Clubbers!

Summer surely is zooming by! I hope you all are enjoying your summer vacation and making the most of your time. I’ve spent the past week preparing for and attending the Key Club International Summer Leadership Conference (SLC) where the International Council, including myself, and Key Clubbers from all around the world hopped online for a weekend of learning, spirit, and service. At SLC, our very own Subashree Venkatasubramanian, who served as the 2020-2021 Division 56 Lieutenant Governor and Kiwanis-Family Relations Chair, was elected to serve on the International Board as a Key Club International Trustee. Throughout the next service year, Subashree will be assigned to serve three districts as a liaison to Key Club International and assist them in internal growth. It’s an honor to have such a strong leader coming from and representing PNW. It is with confidence that I can say she will use her extensive experience to continue forwarding our organization for the better. You can learn more about the other honors and awards Key Clubbers in our district received throughout the rest of this update.

To further fuel your summer of service, PNW Key Club is also bringing you several new opportunities to learn and engage virtually through webinars. This biweekly update contains all the information you’ll need to join in, so keep reading!

Your service and dedication does not go unnoticed. Please reach out to me at governor@pnwkeyclub.org with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Stay awesome, PNW!

Lieutenant Governors are vital to the health of each Key Club division, and serve as the critical connection between the club and district levels. Clubs in divisions that have no Lieutenant Governors serving them lose a consistent source of relevant updates, resources, and leadership.

The following divisions have Lieutenant Governor vacancies:

  • Division 9
  • Division 42V
  • Division 46
  • Division 48
  • Division 50
  • Division 72
  • Division 74
  • Division 76
  • Division 78
  • Division 80

If you or anyone you know is interested and believes they are qualified to serve in the position of Lieutenant Governor, please contact myself at governor@pnwkeyclub.org or District Administrator Brian Egger at administrator@pnwkeyclub.org for more information on seeking appointment.
