Hello Hello Hello, PNW Key Clubbers!
It’s a bittersweet time as we say farewell to our graduating seniors and wish them luck for the next chapter of their lives. June is a beautiful time to cherish the fair weather, the memories we’ve created throughout the past school year, and look forward to what the future may bring. I hope you’re using this time to celebrate, reflect, and get excited for a summer of service with Key Club. I know I sure am.
Club officers should take the opportunity to use the summer to create a strategic plan and set goals for the upcoming school year. In order to ensure that all officers are adequately trained for the service year, Lieutenant Governors will be holding divisional Officer Training Conferences before June 30 to discuss officer responsibilities and help teams bond.
If you’re looking for more opportunities to get engaged, the Key Club International Summer Leadership Conference is the event for you. Hosted virtually from July 8-10, the Summer Leadership Conference is packed with opportunities to develop your leadership skills, get inspiration for meaningful service, and more. The link to register and gain more information is available below in this update.
Your service and dedication does not go unnoticed. Please reach out to me at governor@pnwkeyclub.org with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Stay awesome, PNW!

The 2021 Spring Board Meeting Minutes recap the training, leadership development, and important decisions made during our meeting on May 21-22, 2021. These quarterly board meetings are attended by your Lieutenant Governors. Look over the minutes to learn more about what the district is doing, and what was discussed during the meeting.

At Spring Board 2021, the District Board officially decided to approve Help End Hunger as the new District Project for the 2021-2022 service year. To read more about this approval, please refer to the 2021 Spring Board Meeting Minutes.
Help End Hunger is more than just a project. It’s a movement. Created with the intent of providing local relief to communities disproportionately affected by COVID-19, this year’s district project looks specifically to target hunger and food insecurity throughout the Pacific Northwest. The project will provide unique and meaningful opportunities to get involved through service. Throughout the service year, Key Clubbers are encouraged to participate in service projects at their local food banks, through food drives and monetary donations.Becoming educated about local hunger issues will also be part of this year’s project.
To read more about Help End Hunger, please refer to the one-pager created by the District Project Committee below. More resources will be released in the near future.
For questions about the District Project, please contact District Governor Alice Lee at governor@pnwkeyclub.org.
