Biweekly #8

Hello, Pacific Northwest!

It is crazy to think that our summer is over two-thirds complete! As the season passes us by, continue using this time to recharge and create memories with your friends and family. Taking time to do this now is especially important because the busyness of fall will certainly sweep us away. Within our organization, Key Club Days offer an excellent opportunity for you to create these cherished memories. Be sure to review more information about Key Club Days below!

With the excitement of Key Club Days and other summer activities, I encourage you to create a balance by preparing for the upcoming year. Demonstrating this balance, several Key Club leaders joined us during our Executive Make-Up OTC. The Exec OTC equipped incoming Key Club leaders with important information and skills for their term. Through fact-filled presentations and peer-led breakout sessions, the Exec OTC provided valuable opportunities to share ideas and collaborate. If you weren’t able to join us for our Exec OTC, don’t worry! A recording will be released soon, so keep reviewing these Biweekly Updates and double-check our PNW Key Club YouTube channel.

As the summer begins to wind down, Key Club begins to ramp up! Remember to stay engaged with our district activities, such as Key Club Days, webinars, and newsletters. We have a lot to look forward to, and I don’t want you to miss important updates.

Never hesitate to contact me at governor@pnwkeyclub.org with any questions, concerns, or ideas. I hope to see you at Key Club Days 2025!

In Care and Service,
Gavin Ahumada

Key Club Days

Key Club Day registration is open now! Key Club Days are designed to be fun, motivational, and educational, focused on enhancing the membership experience year-round, not just at the District Convention. Tickets will be available through the PNW Key Club Shop.

Don’t wait to register! Key Club Day South registration closes on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:59 PDT, and Key Club Day North registration closes on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:59 PM PDT.

Key Club Day South will take place from noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 23 at Oaks Park. On-site divisions for Key Club Day South include 42c, 42v, 44, 45, 62, 64, 65, 66, 70, and 72.

Key Club Day North will take place from noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 6 at Wild Waves. On-site divisions for Key Club Day North include 19, 20m, 21, 22/24, 26, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, and 38.

If your division is not listed above as an on-site division, your Lieutenant Governor will host an off-site event during late August or early September. This event will provide a similar experience for Key Club members who might be too distant to attend on-site Key Club Days.

To energize these events, a FREE virtual Key Club Days kick-off event will be available to you and your division on August 20, 2025 at 7:00 PM! These virtual celebrations will provide an opportunity to attend high-quality workshops at no cost, making them a perfect opportunity to kick off Key Club Days 2025!

Ronald McDonald House One-Pager

Attention, PNW Key Clubbers! Are you ready to be involved in the 2025-2026 District Project? The District Project Committee has produced a resource to kick-start your service! The one-pager below provides everything you need to contact your local Ronald McDonald House. It’s easy to use, too! Simply locate your division, find the assigned House, and contact the individual listed using their email address. The District Project Committee encourages you to use this one-pager to plan your next service project in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities!

OTC Feedback Survey: We still want your feedback!

If you attended your Lieutenant Governor’s Officer Training Conference, please complete the OTC Survey linked below to share your input. The results of this survey will be incorporated into training materials for the 2026-2027 District Board and for future events or opportunities offered by PNW Key Club. Your feedback and involvement are greatly appreciated!

PNWOF Webinar

The PNWOF is a district-wide grant program that can cover up to ⅔ of the costs associated with your dream service project.  PNWOF provides grant amounts ranging from $100-$1000, which can be used for club service projects that benefit the 2025-2026 District project, Ronald McDonald House Charities, or the applicant’s community at large. The PNWOF application will open on Monday, September 1 and will close on Friday, October 31, at 11:59 PM

If you want to learn more about PNWOF, you are invited to join our annual PNWOF webinar on Wednesday, September 17, at 7:00 PM. Register with the link below!

More importantly, this program will help you become a stronger leader and a dynamic changemaker.

District Leadership Vacancies

We are pleased to report that nearly all divisions have Lieutenant Governors. However, we still need your help! Lieutenant Governors are vital to the health of each Key Club division, as they create a critical connection between the club and district levels. Clubs in divisions that are not served by a Lieutenant Governor lack a consistent source of relevant updates, resources, and leadership.

The following divisions have Lieutenant Governor vacancies.

  • Division 9
  • Division 22/24
  • Division 52
  • Division 74
  • Division 76

If you or anyone you know is from one of these divisions and is interested in serving as a Lieutenant Governor during the 2025-2026 service year, please contact me at governor@pnwkeyclub.org or District Administrator Brian Egger at administrator@pnwkeyclub.org. Serving on the District Board is an incredible experience that provides opportunities to create change and develop as a leader.
