Hello, PNW Key Club!
Recently, the Pacific Northwest has faced devastating wildfires that have destroyed homes, impacted communities, damaged parks, and threatened important infrastructure. Citizens and friends in my home city of Spokane have been directly affected, and I know many across our district have experienced the fear and uncertainty that comes with these fires.
If you or someone you know has personally been affected, please know that you are not alone. It is completely okay to step back, ask for help, and prioritize yourself and your loved ones during difficult times.
As Key Clubbers, we have the opportunity to come together when our communities need us most. Whether that means checking in on a friend, supporting a neighbor, or simply being there for someone who needs to talk, every act of kindness matters.

2026-2027 District Project Goals
Service & Donations = Membership!
The 2026–2027 District Project Committee has officially set this year’s district project goals: 11,667 service hours and $11,667 in donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)!
Our goal is simple: every member contributes 1 hour of service and $1 to RMHC. Together, our 11,667 members can make a huge impact while supporting families with children receiving medical care.
RMHC is dedicated to “keeping families close” by providing housing, comfort, and resources to families around the world. RMHC operates more than 385 Houses worldwide, including locations in Anchorage, Portland, Springfield, Seattle, Spokane, and Vancouver, B.C.
This year, let’s turn 11,667 members into 11,667 hours and $11,667 donated.
Key Club Days Virtual Kickoff
Start your Key Club Days experience by connecting with members from across the Pacific Northwest! Join us on Wednesday, August 19 at 7:00 PM for our FREE Virtual Kick-Off, featuring inspiring keynote speakers, engaging workshops, and opportunities to network with Key Clubs from throughout the PNW District. This event is a great way to gain new ideas, build friendships, and get excited about the year ahead.
Whether you’re attending Key Club Day North or South in person or simply looking to get involved from home, everyone is welcome to participate. We hope to see you online
Incoming International Trustee
We are excited to welcome Malik Bah as our International Trustee for the 2026–2027 service year!
Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Malik began his Key Club journey as a freshman and has since served as a Lieutenant Governor, MinnDak Membership Development Committee Chair, and Minnesota-Dakotas District Governor. He will now be serving the PNW, Rocky Mountain, and Bahamas Districts as an International Trustee, while also serving as the Membership Development Committee Chair and a member of the International Executive Committee.
Malik recently attended I-Board Trainer in Indianapolis, where he connected with fellow Trustees, International President Eleanor, International Vice President Aayush, and the greater Key Club International community to prepare for the year ahead.
We are excited to have Malik supporting the PNW this year! Please join us in giving him a warm PNW welcome!
Coming up: PNWOF
The Pacific Northwest Opportunity Fund (PNWOF) is a district-wide grant program where dues-paid clubs can apply for partial funding assistance for specific, high-impact service projects that benefit the District Project (Ronald McDonald House Charities) or their community. PNWOF grants range from $100 to $1,000 and can cover up to two-thirds of the service project’s expenses.
Applications for PNWOF open on September 1st, 2026, and close on October 31st, 2026. Now is the time to begin thinking about potential projects! You can check out the 2025-2026 successful PNWOF service project recipients on our website. Join us for our upcoming PNWOF webinar on September 17th, 2026, at 7:00 PM to hear from past club grant recipients and learn more about PNWOF!
Summer Service Projects
This summer, many of us will be traveling, participating in extracurricular programs, taking internships, and more. And whether you may have a booked summer full of opportunities, or a load of downtime, service is one of the greatest ways you can use your time to build relationships, participate actively in your community, and give back. Some of my recommendations to get involved this summer include:

Available District Leadership Opportunities
We are pleased to report that nearly all divisions are served by Lieutenant Governors. However, we still need your help! Lieutenant Governors are vital to the health of each Key Club division, as they create a critical connection between the club and district levels. Clubs in divisions that are not served by a Lieutenant Governor lack a consistent source of relevant updates, resources, and leadership.
The following divisions do not currently have a 2026-2027 Lieutenant Governor:

- Division 50
- Division 52
- Division 74
- Division 78
- Division 80
- Division 82
