Membership (We’re Still Moving Forward!)
Continue recruiting new Key Clubbers! Invite your friends and acquaintances to your Key Club, sharing the magic of service with more of our peers throughout the Pacific Northwest. By increasing your club’s membership, you can execute more impactful and engaging service projects and fundraisers.
Apply to become a Water Warrior! (Deadline: January 1)
Water Warriors serve as a liaison between each district in KCI and Thirst Project, a Key Club International Preferred Charity. Water Warriors promote Thirst Project, teaching Key Club members about its mission. They will also attend and actively engage in regular meetings.
The Water Warrior term ends at ICON, and applicants from all grade levels are welcome and encouraged to apply. Applications are due January 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.
Winter Advisor Town Hall
Advisors, please join us on Thursday, January 8th, at 6:30 PM via Zoom for our Winter Advisor Town Hall. We will be discussing updates about the District Project, the Kiwanis-family, DCON 2026, and much more! There will also be time dedicated to Q&A among advisors to ensure you feel prepared for the remainder of the service year.
Running for Higher Office
The service year is drawing to a close, meaning members interested in higher office should be completing and submitting their required paperwork! If you are interested in serving as a Lieutenant Governor, closely review the 2026-2027 LTG Candidate Packet and submit it to your current Lieutenant Governor via email at least 24 hours before the scheduled election rally. Be sure to contact District Administrator Brian Egger (administrator@pnwkeyclub.org) if you were unable to attend the Running for Higher Office Webinar with a parent or guardian. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from running for Lieutenant Governor.
Candidates for District Executive Office and International Endorsement should also be finalizing their candidate paperwork, which is due February 1, 2026. Individuals curious about each role can review the Running for Higher Office Webinar Recording linked below! Additional resources are also included!
The Winter ESPRESSO
Interested in the district’s progress throughout the past few months? Be sure to check out our Winter Edition of The ESPRESSO, a quarterly newsletter created by District Editor Tiffany Vo! The publication includes concise—yet inspiring—articles about our District Project, DCON, personal Key Club stories, and more from Lieutenant Governors, Executive Committee members, our International Trustee, and others. Access The Winter ESPRESSO using the link below!
DCON 2026 Registration Webinar Recording
Did you miss the DCON 2026 Registration Webinar? Alternatively, you may want to review the information presented at the virtual event. From advisors to club members and officers, the DCON 2026 Registration Webinar is certain to provide you with critical knowledge as we approach DCON 2026. The DCON Committee provides insight regarding the speakers and entertainers, and a step-by-step registration tutorial. Access the recording—in addition to the DCON 2026 Website—with the links below!
Time to Plan Club Officer Elections!
Clubs are asked to please host their club officer elections in late January or early February. This allows newly-elected officers to attend DCON officer training, provides an opportunity for new officers to seek the mentorship of their predecessor as the school year continues, and it ensures that experienced Lieutenant Governors can assist your club during the transition. This month, please identify a date, time, and format for your club officer elections. Also, develop a plan for promoting elections and encouraging qualified members of your club to seek leadership positions.
The service year will conclude before we know it!
Youth Opportunities Fund Update (APPLY FOR CYCLE #2 NOW!)
Around the world, Key Clubs are making waves with support from the Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF). Hundreds of Key Clubs have received grants from the YOF, allowing them to take their service projects to new heights. Second-round applications for the 2025-2026 grants are due on March 1, 2026.
