Morty Monday: Community Talent Show

Happy #mortymonday! On Friday, December 14th, Pullman Key Club of Division 56 hosted their first annual Community Talent Show at their local middle school. The audience was entertained by performers from ages 8 to 49 with 26 diverse acts including Bollywood dances, a ballet performance, guitar, violin, and piano solos, a musical number played on the Guzheng (a traditional Chinese instrument), and so much more! At the end of intermission, Andy He, our PNW District Treasurer, gave a presentation about the Thirst Project and its impact, which was followed by a Miracle Minute for the audience. All donations as well as profit from the Miracle Minute were directly given to the Thirst Project. In total, Pullman Key Club raised over $747 for the Thirst Project! That’s enough to provide 25 people with water for the rest of their lives! They plan to make this into an annual event, and hope to continue raising awareness and money for great organizations like the Thirst Project in the future!
