My Key Club Story: Amber Francisco

My favorite event so far has been the Homecoming Parade. Most Key Clubbers (some not pictured as they were with other banners) were able to attend the Homecoming Parade. We all met up to make a poster representing our club and walked around on our local track. It was meaningful to me because the Key Clubbers who were able to attend all bonded with each other and other clubs. We helped create posters for Key Club and posters for each class and other clubs. We helped with HOSA, Student Council, Class of 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. We had all gathered together to show our school spirit for the homecoming game. We marched down to the field and around the track yelling and cheering. The football players ran through the final banner and a fellow Key clubber named Jessica, jumped out of the bottom of the Key Club poster accidentally ripping the poster. Even though it had ripped, we continued on cheering on the Kodiak High School Football team. We all showed our school spirit and represented Key Club. The Kodiak Community and the KHS football players had enjoyed the parade and the other team had complimented us and some even wished their school had done the same.
