What’s Poppin’ PNW: August 21, 2021

Our next What’s Poppin’ post features Division 56. Here is a word from Pullman Key Club President Yiqing Du, “Pullman Key Clubbers volunteered at Pullman Kiwanis’ annual Stuff the Bus event. We were able to purchase 7775 items with the monetary donations we received. Along with the donations from the bus, we donated over 10,000 items! That’s enough to supply 700 Pullman students with the full list of required school supplies! Also, we donated extra supplies, enough for around 200 students, to our neighboring towns Colton and Colfax.” Great work Pullman Key Club! Here is what their Lieutenant Governor, Renee Sun has to say, “Despite school being out, the clubs in Division 56 have continued to stay active and serve the community. I am so incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work they have put into Key Club. This week, I want to spotlight Pullman Key Club for helping their sponsoring Kiwanis Club with their annual Stuff the Bus event! During the event, members helped hold signs outside the bus to advertise for donations and helped sort the collected school supplies. All of these school supplies will be given to students in the Pullman School District who can’t afford them. Thank you for your service Pullman Key Club!” Thanks Renee. What an awesome service project, Division 56!
