This week we are featuring Division 42c for What’s Poppin’ PNW! Here is a message from Lieutenant Governor Rachel Ball. “I want to tell you about an event that Warrenton High School recently held. On August 22nd, we decided to do a beach cleanup! Beforehand, Warrenton’s Kiwanis Club Advisor, Rick Newton, treated everyone with Subway sandwiches! It was such a fun time and I had a great time getting to know everyone, all while helping clean up the beach. In the end, we picked up about 21 pounds of trash! I know it doesn’t seem like a lot, but anything is better than nothing. I am very proud of what we accomplished and I am glad we were able to meet and establish some awesome connections! Also, we found a letter in a bottle from 2014, so that was pretty epic!” That sounds like a fun and successful service project, thanks Rachel!
