What’s Poppin’ PNW: February 2, 2024

Hi Key Clubbers! For What’s Poppin PNW, we are featuring Division 38. Here is a message from Lieutenant Governor Izayah Qiu: “Division 38 continues to shine as a beacon of service in our community as we wrap up the festive season! Our clubs have worked hard fundraising and giving back to our community in time for the first lights of the Christmas season. From wrapping gift donations to the light parades of Lacey, much of our division has embodied the spirit of giving! Let’s point out a few stars in the division: Tumwater High School held a project donating gifts to local families in need for Christmas through the Salvation Army Adopt A Family Program! On top of that, they packaged over 150 care bags for houseless individuals and handed them out. Next, my home club of Olympia High School provided gift wrapping services at our local holiday “Bearzaar” and helped distribute toys at our local Salvation Army. Finally, North Thurston, River Ridge, and Timberline High School banded together to set up and support one of the largest light parades in our town! I’m very proud of the work my clubs have put in over this past year to stay involved within our community at large, and I can’t wait to see what awaits us in the next two months!” Thank you for your hard work, Izayah!
