What’s Poppin’ PNW: June 10, 2022

Hey PNW Key Clubbers! Happy Friday! For the first What’s Poppin’ PNW Post of the 2022-2023 service year, we are featuring Division 13/15/17. Here is a word from their Lieutenant Governor, Jenny Jia: “It has been a busy time for Division 13/15/17! Tis the running season in Vancouver, so Claremont and Killarney spent some time volunteering at the water station and at the finish line handing out water cups and participation medals at local marathons. Van Tech partnered with City Reach to help sort, pack, and distribute food, and Vancouver Westside concluded their collaboration soap sale with Gastown Soapworks in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. They raised over $1,000! On June 3rd, some Key Clubbers stepped up to help the Kiwanis Club of West Vancouver’s concession stand at Bridgefest, which sold over 150 bags of popcorn and 200 bags of cotton Candy! Most recently, on June 4th, a joint Mental Health DCM was held with fellow Canadian Division 18 in White Rock, British Columbia. We spent the afternoon painting, doing yoga, buying some ice cream, and getting to know each other by the beach. I could not be prouder of my ninja pandas and cannot wait to see what everyone has in store for the new school year!” Thank you Jenny!
