This week’s What’s Poppin’ is featuring Division 18. Here is what their Lieutenant Governor, Nola Stenstrom, has to say: “This is the last day of school for us here in the Canadian Fraser Valley so I’m elated to share some of the things that Division 18 has accomplished these past couple of months! For this divisional spotlight, firstly, I want to shout-out ASIA Sumas Secondary’s Key Club for their Pride Month bracelet sale where they raised money for the Trevor Project. Next, Robert Bateman Secondary’s Key Club members volunteered at the Run For Water event which raises money for clean water projects in the developing world. My home club, Yale Secondary’s Key Club hosted a year-end picnic in collaboration with another school club where Key Clubbers made and shared cultural food and bonded with fellow members. Lastly, Sardis Secondary’s Key Club held a Kiwanis Grad Tea where outstanding graduating Key Clubbers got the chance to receive awards and speak with local Kiwanians. I am so proud of my division’s Key Clubbers for continuing to strive to make our world a better place. Way to go Grizzlies!” Thanks, Nola!
