Hi Key Clubbers! For this week’s What’s Poppin PNW, we are featuring Division 18. Here is a message from the Lieutenant Governor, Charles Macsabejon: “Over the past number of weeks, Division 18 has been ROARING with service throughout the Fraser Valley. This past month, a number of our clubs have been up to several service projects and fundraisers that highlight what it means to be a true Key Clubber. Starting off with my home club, Sardis Secondary recently hosted their Ride for Kids Cancer. Over 20 teams rode on stationary bikes to raise funds for BC Children’s Hospital, and as a result of the fundraiser, they raised over $10,000! Abbotsford Senior Secondary and W.J. Mouat Secondary recently hosted a cleanup at their local park, which shows how interconnected Division 18 is. And one last spotlight for Mennonite Education Institute, Rick Hansen Secondary, and Yale Secondary, as all three clubs had members volunteer at the local food bank in support of our District Project. I want to give a big thank you to all of Division 18’s clubs for being amazing and supportive of many causes within our community and region. And frankly, all of this would have not been possible without the committed members from all the Key Clubs in Division 18, especially those that have been elected to an officer position. So Grizzlies, let’s keep the ROAR going! 🐻” Thank you for your hard work, Charles!
