What’s Poppin’ PNW: September 21, 2021

Our next What’s Poppin’ features Division 34! Here is a word from their Lieutenant Governor, Julia Van: “Division 34 has been as active as possible with the new school year starting up! One of the events that went very well within the past month was Gig Harbor High School’s Cereal Drive. Over the course of four days, they collected cereal boxes for children in need of food as part of the larger Food Backpack 4 Kids project. At the end of the four days they exceeded their goal of 270 boxes donated, collecting a total of 280 boxes! The club also received $300 in cash donated by the ‘generous people in our community,’ according to Gig Harbor Key Club’s President. Food Backpack 4 Kids was extremely happy to see all these donations being brought in and said ‘let’s give a round of applause for the Gig Harbor High School Key Club’, so let’s all give a round of applause to Gig Harbor’s Key Club for their incredible work!” Thank you, Julia!
