On Saturday, May 6th, Key Clubbers from the Grants Pass High School Key Club volunteered at a local wildlife rehabilitation center by doing a variety of tasks in order to clean up for the Spring season. Key Clubbers washed windows, painted, cleaned benches, raked up the trails, and had a lot of fun getting to know each other throughout this volunteer opportunity. After the clean up, everyone celebrated with pizza and drinks, as well as a glimpse of some of the animals that are being cared for.Overall, Key Clubbers left with the experience and honor of serving others. As a club, it is important to develop a passion for serving others in any way possible- whether it is cleaning up a wildlife center, making care packages for the homeless, or even visiting the elderly-just getting out there and assisting those in need really does make a difference in their lives, and ours.
